OUR UNIVERSITY,THE JINNAH UNIVERSITY FOR WOMEN IS ONE OF THE LEADING UNIVERSITY OF PAKISTAN.IT HAS A STRENGTH OF ABOUT 5,000 GIRLS LIKE ALL OTHER UNIVERSITIES.  

THERE IS A PHOTOSTATE SHOP IN OUR UNIVERSITY AS WELL WHICH IS MEANT TO FACILITATE THE STUDENTS WHO WANT TO COPY NOTES AND OTHERS STUDY MATERIALS WITHIN THE UNIVERSITY,BUT UNFORTUNATELY,THERE IS ONLY THREE MACHINES WHICH IS NOT ENOUGH FOR THE HUGE AMOUNT OF PHOTOSTATE FOR THE GIRLS.THIS CAUSE ALOT OF TROUBLE FOR ALL THE STUDENT.

''END TO GLITTER THE GOLD'' ONE OR TWO MACHINES HAPPENED TO BE OUT OF ORDER TIME IN AGAIN AND THE POOR GIRLS HAD TO WAIT FOR HOURS AND HOURS FOR PHOTOSTATE .STUDENTS DEMANDED THAT THE MANAGEMENT SHOULD TAKE MEASURES AND INCREASE ATLEAST 2 TO 3 MORE PHOTOSTATE MACHINE IN THE SHOP IMMEDIATELY SO,THAT ALL THE PHOTOSTATE CAN BE DONE IN TIME.

CITIZEN JOURNALISM

                                                         A lecture on citizen journalism was held for the student of mass communication in JINNAH UNIVERSITY FOR WOMEN.
    

                                                                        This very seminar was conducted by Mr.OWAIS,of DAWN GROUP an anchor and documentary film maker,explained us that what the citizen journalism is?He explained the main characteristics of citizen journalism such as:

• be confident about your topic.
• always keep your eyes open.
• citizen journalism is the sharing of opinion.
• develop an ability to find such thing which are interesting

TERMINAL EXAMS

                                             ‘’People might not run away from the angel of death as desperately as university students tence to runaway from the ANGEL of death as desperately as university students tence to runaway from the exams’’

                                                               such as exams is terminal its a matter of life and death for me because by getting through this exam.I would have got such a degree which enable me to achieve my dream .The most famous news anchor of Pakistan just like MEHR BUKHARI,JASSEMINE MANZOOR and AASMA SHEHRAZI or other ladies like them but for that I had to work hard my heart out.

WHAT a poor student can do?When her assignment wasn't completed her notes were taken away by her friends and they are never in a mood to return those and when you are in a superb mood of study along power break down spoiled your mood and daily delays in exams due to law and order further make it difficult to keep yourself compered and prepared for such exams.

MID TERM EXAMS

         Getting through any examination is always been an uphill task and being a university student exams become a nightmare most students in university take the study very lightly.

They turned curricular activities into extra curricular and when they realize that exams like mid term exams are at the corner it was much too late.Thanks GOD this wasn't the case for me though like all other girls.I had to better loud the law and order situation which often deprieved me irregular from being a regular student and worst come worst the loadshedding under the circumstances

AN ACCIDENT

                                                                   The big long bus was set at fire and around it.The angry mob was throwing stones on other.vehicles which got many people injured that was the seen after an accident at sharifabad.Just a day ago this all happened when a speedy bus ran over a lady who was crossing the road and become the victim of a fatal accident.

                                   

                                                  The poor women was going to buy some fruit for her  children from the market across the road.There is not the first accident that  takes costly life.As there is no over -head bridge for the people to cross the road.which is all the time full with speedy vehicles that often causes.Such fatal accident.

MELA

                                                       They said that the people use to lost in the mella’s at this become true.when we literally lost in the attraction of annual mella in our university.The atmosphere was truly electrifire full of colours “FASHION FUNDAAS” and the colour of “GOLLA GANDAAS”.The ground coozing with girls who were absolutely enjoying each and every moment of the mella.The mella was also attended by the noble and celebrity which glittered the occasion.The setting and the theme was preety much.

                                                                Great rush can be seen over these stalls.Girls are incomplete without jewellery and bangles so the girls did there heart out for the shopping of jewellery and cosmetic items.

                                           The background music was mesmerizing and the fore ground music palyed by the D.JS.The mix with bollywood and Hollywood madleys made the girls dance and we were the definite part of it.The fun went on the whole day and the mella was truly a great success leave us with unforgettable memories forever

Pak -India WORLD CUP SEMI :PEACE IS THE WINNER

India beat Pakistan in the ICC World cup 2011 in Mohali on Wednesday .This Match was decalared in the media as the mother of all clashes .Some called it the war at the battle field of Mohali  and some The Mission Mohali.The Hype of this match so high that even the government had decided to make the most of it and tries to improve its relation which is on the worst state after the Mumbai attack in Nov.2009.The Indian Prime Minister Manmohan singh invited the Pakistani Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani to watch the India-Pakistan semi final with him and Pakistani Prime Minister gratefully accepted the invitation .The excitement about this match was at its peak in both the countries People had called off all their work just for the sake of this match ,special prayers were held no matter by Hindus or Muslims or by Christians for the victory of their beloved teams and they want their team to win at any cost.The forecaster, the fortune teller , the palmist and many of the cricket experts were saying that Pakistan was going to win this very semi final

On the day of the match the street of Pakistan were deserted as the whole nation were only have one thing to do and that Is to watch Pakistan –India match.Every run , every wicket and every four and six was cheered with big claps crackers and even with aerial firings which made the atmosphere absolutely electrifying.Pakistan field first and thanks to the hostile bowling of Wahab Riaz and despite the dropping of Four catches of Sachin Tendulkar Pakistan manage to restrict India for only 260 runs which didn’t look big by seeing this pitch of Mohali.Pakistani started Fantasizing about the easy victory of Pakistan but poor shot selection , bad planning and slow scoring shattered the dream of Pakistan and the Pakistani fans and india bowled out Pakistan for just 231 .and the street that were oozing with cheers and echoing with crackers sounds were presenting a pin drop silence. Hearts were broken and tears could be seen in every eyes of the Pakistanis.

But the most positive Points of this match was the reaction of our cricket lovers who tends to get absolutely violent in the past when ever Pakistan lost to India ,they used to smash the windows ,stone were thrown at the homes of the cricketers but no such reaction was observed after such shocking defeat in such a big clash which surprise the world media which already doubted the Pakistanis as a peaceful nation .Every body praises Pakistani team for putting up fight in such a big tournament where every cricket Pandit was forecasting an early exit of the Pakistani team from the world cup.

The Peace have been the winner of this big clash and surely the people of India and the Pakistani in Particular have been the joint Men of the Match who showed great peace and harmony during and after this match which certainly melt the Ice between two rival neighbouring countries
